Black Research Network Symposium

University of Toronto Black Research Network, Victoria University · Research Presenter

Presented my published research on dry skin and hand hygiene practices in a racially diverse university community. The work received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award, one of two given at the symposium by the BRN and the Black Graduate Students' Association, and was later featured by the Black Research Network. It became the foundation for my flash talk at the Physiology & Black Health Symposium.

Hosted by the Department of Physiology at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, I was one of eight trainees selected to give a flash talk, presenting my dermatology research to faculty, clinicians, and researchers. The talk received the symposium's Poster Presentation Award.
